Step 2 · 10 day deadline
Notify everyone with an interest
Legal owners, registered owners and lienholders are mailed notice. They have 10 days to oppose.
Step 3 · 30 day deadline
Clear the waiting period
With no opposition, most liens are ready to sell in 30 to 41 days from the start.
Step 4 · 120 day deadline
Close the case
Higher-value liens and self-storage cases can take up to 120 days from start to finish.
